The Tenths marketing website is hosted by Cloudflare and uses Plausible for website analytics, including referrals and general geography. This website processing is separate from the app, whose AI runs on your device with Apple Foundation Models.

By reading the following you should understand fully what we collect and why we collect it.

Tenths - The App

Core Timekeeping and Encryption:

Tenths encrypts sensitive timekeeping information on your device. Any subscription, if applicable, is managed through Apple's AppStore. Tenths AI and dictation run entirely on your device. Optional features such as support and Stripe invoicing transmit only the information needed to provide the feature, as described below.

Optional Service Identifiers:

Optional services such as Stripe invoicing may use an app-specific identifier to authorize access and manage service limits. This is separate from the optional aggregate usage counts described below. The new aggregate usage payload does not contain a persistent device or account identifier.

Analytics Data We Do Not Collect:

We do not use client names, matter names, entry descriptions, invoice contents, or payment information for advertising, tracking, or analytics. We do not sell personal information or build advertising profiles.

Optional Stripe Invoicing:

Stripe invoicing is optional. Your ordinary Tenths records remain inside the encrypted Tenths data system unless you deliberately review and confirm an invoice for sending. When you connect Stripe and send an invoice, Tenths processes the provider and client contact information, descriptions, line items, amounts, discounts, due dates, and Stripe identifiers needed to create, deliver, reconcile, and support that invoice. Mela Roo's Tenths server, Stripe, and Cloudflare Email Service process this information. Payment card and bank-account details are entered only on Stripe and are not stored in Tenths. Tenths retains an operational invoice ledger to prevent duplicate sends, synchronize status, show open, paid, and overdue invoices, import Stripe invoices, and send reminders. You can request deletion of Tenths-held invoice ledger data at [email protected], subject to security, fraud-prevention, accounting, and legal retention requirements.

On-Device AI and Dictation:

Tenths AI runs only on your device with Apple Foundation Models, and dictation uses on-device speech recognition only. Your spoken or typed requests, transcripts, entry text, and the client, matter, and entry names used to match your request are processed on your device and never leave it. Tenths does not send AI requests or audio to Tenths' servers, OpenAI, or any other online AI service, and there is no online AI option.

If your device is not eligible for Apple Intelligence, Apple Intelligence is turned off, the on-device model is still getting ready, or on-device speech recognition is not supported for your language, AI and dictation are unavailable and you can enter time manually. Tenths never falls back to server-based processing.

Optional Support & Communications:

If you reach out to us for support through email, text, or call, we will store your contact information securely for the duration of our correspondence. We use your information only to provide the support you requested and for future communications relevant to that support.

We do not use this contact information to enroll you in any marketing or promotional campaigns, nor do we share your details for any such communications. It is exclusively used for the purpose of providing support and assistance. Upon request, we will delete your contact information from our system immediately, otherwise we will delete your contact information after a period of inactivity.

Privacy Policy Updates:

This policy may be revised from time to time. We encourage you to review it regularly for updates. We will notify you of any significant changes.

You are not the product. We sell a product for revenue and are not in the business of selling data - so we have no desire to collect yours - only if you ask us to contact you directly as outlined above.

Optional Aggregate Usage Counts

If you enable Share anonymous usage counts in Account, Tenths sends allowlisted counts for workspace visits, opening the first-entry form, saved time, generated and completed exports, viewing plans, starting and completing purchases, and unavailable dictation. The payload includes the app version and platform. A plans view also includes which part of the app opened it, from a fixed list: the export limit, the export banner, Account, or other. It does not include client names, work descriptions, time amounts, billing or payment details, account identifiers, or persistent device identifiers. Counts are grouped by day on our server and are not used for advertising. The service receives ordinary network information to process requests; this information is not added to the aggregate count table. The setting is off by default. Turning it off stops new submissions; previously aggregated counts cannot be linked back to your device for removal.
